For the research paper you'll need to research American history from 1860-1960. The 5 min clip below covers the time period of To Kill a Mockingbird, which we will read in term three and is the main reason we are doing this paper. Once you have watch the video below go to this site and surf around to find a topic. Use the drop down menu and just be sure to look within the 1860-1960 time frame. ( That means Civil War through mid 20th century)

mr. brady, i have an important event that happened in 1965, is that ok, or should i look for other events
I'd rather stick to 1960...but...what is the event?
Mr. Brady- when I was researching the links on the site you linked to, I found that many of the links had somthng wrong with them. 404 errors or 'This page no longer exists'. Thanks!
