LA this week: First, we have a new spelling list-
pedal, pedometer, centipede, pulsate, repulsive, impulse, pendulum, pendant, suspend, pending. For grammar we are covering sentence functions and the 2 exercises for that are due Thursday.
The quiz for spelling and grammar will be next week. We are also continuing sentence diagrams in class. As for writing, you need to finish your notes for the research paper this week. Check the calendar for the rest of the due dates associated with the research paper.
Reading this week: On Monday we will be working with the two vocab lists (test next Monday). Tuesday and Wednesday will be focused on the last two speeches in our mini rhetoric unit. Then on Thursday we will have the second reading skills test for term two.
