Poetry Unit & Shakespeare

We will be taking a break of sorts from the regular routine over the next couple of weeks. In LA you'll be working on your Poetry Performance projects. In Reading we will be starting the Shakespeare unit with an extended introduction as well as starting the first approach paper. Below are some pertinent dates:

• Friday Jan 6th: Poem must be memorized
• Monday Jan 9th: Free write #2 is due
• Week after the long weekend: Vocab test, approach paper due, Reading Skills test

One of the things we will talk about in regards to Shakespeare is how he used and helped develop the English language.
