Points to ponder....
- Are people essentially whole or broken in the novel?
- What does Lee think the source of evil is? Fear? Ignorance? Something else?
- Does Lee posit empathy as the solution to the South's divergent nature?
- How is Mayella/Tom different from their historical counterparts from the video? Why does Lee change them?

It needs to be a paragraph now? I thought we could just bullet them and write them by answering the questions you had on the board? Now I'm confused...
Are we supposed to write about all points? or just pick one or two?
Paragraph...bullet list....five paragraph essay...finger paints...I don't care as long as you are reflecting on the idea that Harper Lee tells us something about the main issue she is trying to resolve. You are suppose to use the points above as a jumping off point. Write whatever you think.
When is this due?
How do we cite a person, like an interview?
